Dr. Prakash U. Tahiliani passed his M.B;B.S. in the year 1981. He started his medical practice in Navsari (Gujarat), India. During his years of medical practice he encountered many cases of multi drug resistant Malaria. These cases are specially difficult to treat because the Allopathic treatment tends to loose its effectiveness and also weakens the body's immune system when used repeatedly or in higher doses. This motivated him to search for an alternative.
In the year 1984 a chronic case of multi drug resistant Falciparum Malaria with fever recurring every 2 months was referred to Dr. Prakash U. Tahiliani. Over a course of 4 years the patient had been treated with Chloroquine, QDH, Sulfa + Pyrimethamine, Mefloquine, Halofantrine and also many Ayurvedic drugs. Since the malarial parasite tends to build up resistance to allopathic anti-malarial drugs these forms of treatment failed. In addition allopathic anti-malarial drugs tend to weaken the body's immune system when used repeatedly or in higher doses. Keeping these issues in mind Dr. Prakash U. Tahiliani formulated the Ayurvedic drug Cap. Plasmonil to enhance the body's immune system so that the body can tackle itself with the malarial parasite.
